반갑습니다!

저는 현재 미션 비에호Mission Viejo에 있는 프로비던스 선교병원Providence Mission Hospital에서 원목으로 섬기고 있는 유니스 김 목사입니다. 김문철 목사의 아내로 이미 알고 계신 분들도 계실 겁니다. 저는 한 가정의 엄마이며, 세 딸과 사위가 있습니다. 저는 칼빈신학교에서 신학교육을 마친 후 남편과 함께 '사모'로서 EM 사역을 했습니다. 그러던 중 부르심에 응답하여 목회학석사(M.Div) 과정을 밟기 위해 칼빈신학교로 돌아왔습니다. 2021년 졸업 후, 저는 캘리포니아 존 뮤어John Muir 병원에서 1년 간 CPE(Clinical Pastoral Education) 레지던트 훈련을 받았습니다. 하나님의 인도하심으로 저는 채플린으로 섬기는 것에 수락했고, 지난 11월 청빙 교회인 캘리포니아 헤이워드Hayward에 있는 Christ’s Community CRC에서 안수를 받았습니다. 이 새로운 여정을 시작하며, 다음 사역의 장에서 하나님께서 저를 어떻게 사용하실지 기대가 됩니다.

시속 200마일로 달린 것 같은 지난 몇 달이었습니다. 몇 번의 이사, 안수, 새로운 사역 등 제 인생에서 많은 흥분되는 일들을 겪은 후, 저는 넷플릭스와 좋은 책을 읽으며 긴장을 푸는 것을 즐겨합니다.

I am Eunice Kim, currently serving as a Staff Chaplain at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo. Some of you may already know me as Rev. Munchul Kim’s wife. As a mom, we have three daughters and a son-in-law together. After completing my training at Calvin Theological Seminary, I served in the English ministry along with my other role as "Samonim,” with my husband. Responding to a call, I returned to CTS to pursue an MDiv. After graduation in 2021, I jumped into a year-long training as a CPE Resident at John Muir Hospital, CA. With God guiding me, I accepted the offer to serve as a Chaplain and was ordained last November at my calling church, Christ Community Church in Hayward, CA. As I embark on this new journey, I am excited to see how He will use me in the next chapter of ministry.

After going 200 miles per hour in the last several months, navigating many excitements in my life, including several moves, ordination, and a new ministry, I enjoy winding down with Netflix and a good read.
